"i swear i saw this" CFA Downtown Studio

The three person exhibition, "i swear i saw this," revolves around issues of vision and knowledge, visibility, and transparency. Works shown are by Kristen Roles, Amy Johnson, and Ariel C. Wilson. Through the work the artists ask, state, articulate, restate, and contradict the phrase/question (does) seeing = knowing. 

The pieces in the show were collaboratively selected by MFA graduate, artist, and curator, Lara Goldmann. Goldmann recently co-curated the Decolonizing Nature exhibition at 516 Arts in Albuquerque, NM. The exhibition accompanied the Decolonizing Nature Conference through the University of New Mexico and community partners.
